Private Breathwork
Journey
FREEDOM WITH EVERY BREATH
Are you a curious, open-minded person who wants to explore what lies beneath the surface?
-
Prefer to use your own breath as the medicine to journey inward?
-
Experiencing roadblocks in your self-growth or repeating the same old patterns?.
-
Done a lot of cognitive work (i.e. talk therapy, journaling, reading) and sense your body is holding onto things?
-
Are you looking for a natural way to explore and shift your everyday experience?
In this practice, you will consciously explore your unconscious using a compassionately guided breathing process known to facilitate the acknowledgement and processing of stored stress from your body and help you access insight.
"Breathwork with Joy has been an important piece of my recovery puzzle. I feel hopeful and in charge of my life again." ~Corinna Chichiluk
What can I expect during a session?
All new clients are required to book a NEW CLIENT ASSESSMENT session to determine if this particular practice is suitable and safe for you. This includes intake questionnaire, somatic inquiry, and breath analysis screening using capnography. Once suitability is determined, clients can expect the following in a conscious connected breathwork session;

-
Open healthy breath coaching and intention setting
-
Guidance into full, vibrant circular breathing which lowers your blood C02 temporarily, providing access to altered state of consciousness.
-
Varying experiences occur (i.e. tingling and other physical sensations, physical and emotional release, visualizations, memory recall). It is best to have no expectations.
-
Recorded music is generally used to assist with evoking experiences, customized to clients' intentions.
-
Constant observation, inquiry and support, gentle touch with permission.
-
Time to rest, digest and integrate the experiences and insights.

The body is innately intelligent and our awareness is brought to whatever needs to be resolved during the process. The breath acts as a bridge between the conscious and unconscious, between the mind, body and the spirit and attunes us to our deep intuition.
